To celebrate International Year of the Volunteer, LLNB launched a new initiative to honour its volunteers, past and present, who have contributed significantly to the growth and development of LLNB, or its councils. The "LLNB Volunteer Hall of Fame" was unveiled at the AGM held October 12 & 13 in Sussex. Our very first LLNB Hall of Fame recipients were:

interesting story to tell or know someone who does? The Minto Literacy Council
has received funding from the National Literacy Secretariat to host a StoryFest
in Minto on November 3, 2001. We are interested in hearing and documenting
local stories - truth or fiction.
Take out your pen and paper and join us for a trip down memory lane! If you have any questions or would like to submit a story, please contact us for more information.
